Vintage guitar riffs and jazz-rock solos meet playful melodies
In their music the band builds upon the timeless foundation of classic rock riffs, expanding their sound with elements of jazz, pop, and progressive music.
The poignant lyrics address themes such as female empowerment ('Racer'), political commentary ('Mind Bomb'), and the inner battles against one's own demons ('Gust Of Wind', 'Neon Light Faeries'). If you appreciate vintage guitar tones, skilled musicianship, and meaningful lyrics, you won't want to overlook these three.
Having started listening to and playing rock music from a very young age, all three members of TAKE OFF TO NOVA have a rich musical background to refer to. Roger and André both turned their passion into profession. Each of them has various other musical projects, while also teaching music to students. Christiane chose another artistic discipline for her trade and is a graphic designer in working life.
The three enjoy playing together for the band experience: Spending time in the rehearsal room (which is located in Cologne), working on songs, organizing gigs – it´s a real heart affair. More serious than any job.

Die Band baut in ihrer Musik auf dem zeitlosen Fundament klassischer Rockriffs auf und erweitert ihren Sound um Elemente aus Jazz, Pop und Progressive Rock.
Die eindringlichen Texte behandeln Themen wie weibliche Selbstbestimmung („Racer“), politische Kommentare („Mind Bomb“) und den inneren Kampf gegen die eigenen Dämonen („Gust Of Wind“, „Neon Light Faeries“). Wer Vintage-Gitarrensounds, virtuoses musikalisches Können und tiefgründige Texte schätzt, sollte diese drei Bands unbedingt kennenlernen.
Alle drei Mitglieder von TAKE OFF TO NOVA hören und spielen Rockmusik seit ihrer frühen Jugend und verfügen daher über einen reichen musikalischen Hintergrund. Roger und André haben ihre Leidenschaft zum Beruf gemacht. Beide haben diverse andere Projekte und unterrichten außerdem Musik. Christiane hat sich für einen anderen künstlerischen Bereich entschieden und arbeitet als Grafikdesignerin.
Die drei genießen das gemeinsame Musizieren als Band: Die Zeit im Proberaum (in Köln), das Songwriting, die Organisation von Konzerten – es ist eine echte Herzensangelegenheit. Ernsthafter als jeder Job.
